Dr. Kiner accepts Aetna.

For individuals with other insurance policies not accepted by Dr. Kiner, we will assist you in utilizing your out-of-network benefits by providing you with a detailed “Superbill” that consists of specific coding that insurance companies require.

I work with adults and the occasional teen.

Individual therapy for adults dealing with all major challenges of modern life – stress, anxiety, depression, life changes, and more.

Cancellations made without 24-hour notice will result in being charged full fee for the session.

The initial session is longer than your standard 50-minute session. The beginning of the session will consist of signing initial paperwork and an overview of confidentiality.

I will do a thorough job of collecting as much background history as possible and make room for you to share the struggles you are experiencing and what brought you to therapy.

I combine genuine, authentic presence in combination with scientific methods that are proven to work.

We will move at a pace you are comfortable with – but when you need a nudge forward, I will gently direct your attention back to the issues at hand. I do not intend to waste your time leading you in circles.

I bring a deep sensitivity to my work but employ a sense of humor and play, when appropriate, so that we can stay balanced and light, focused on our task of healing trauma and moving into a better future.
